Product Description
This compound is a glycopeptide antibiotic that inhibits the formation of peptidoglycan polymers of bacterial cell walls. It produces a synergism in antimicrobial activity when combined with cefotaxime or carbenicillin. Vancomycin is especially used by Agrobacterium species with a high β-Lactamase production.
