Product Description
This is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with mode of action similar to Kanamycin and Neomycin. Paromomycin inhibits protein synthesis by binding to 16S ribosomal RNA. It is used as a selective agent for the incorporation of the NPT II (APH3') gene in plant tissue.
