Bradford method utilizes Coomassie Brillant Blue G-250 dye binding to an unknown protein and forming a complex which can be detected spectophotometrically at 595nm. Method of choice for protein quantitation.
Specifications:
Designed to quantitate 1 to 10 µg/mL protein but can be scaled up to quantitate 10 to 100 µg/mL simply by increasing the volume of the dye generating a standard curve in the 10 to 100 µg/mL range.
Components: Bradford Reagent 1 L, NaCl 0.15 M 200 mL, BSA Standard (0.5 mg/mL) 2x1.5 mL.
