This kit provides a simple, rapid and efficient procedure to isolate intact chloroplasts from plant leaves. The chloroplast isolation method includes homogenization of the plant leaf tissue, followed by isolation of chloroplasts by filtration, and finally the separation of intact and broken chloroplasts using a percoll gradient centrifugation.
