• bioZOL™ is a single phase solution designed specifically for the isolation of pure, intact RNA from plant tissue and cells in less than 90 minutes
• Utilizes phenol, ammonium thiocyanate, guanidine thiocyanate, and B-mercaptoethanol to effectively disrupt cellular structure while inactivating RNase released from membrane-bound organelles
• Total RNA is free of protein and DNA and can be used for cDNA synthesis, Northern blotting and in vitro translation
• Procedure eliminates the need for lengthy ethanol precipitations and cesium chloride gradients
• One bottle performs 100 RNA isolations (each from 100 milligrams of tissue)
• Product can be used as a cost-effective substitute to TRIzol®
